Surprised how Pro Ndomebele some people are and how negative some are re Moura.
Re N'dombele.... a couple of good games vs City 15 months ago and a couple of fancy turns and dribbles doesn't make a player when he's shlt, injured or barely incapable of running yet picked in a match day squad. He's turning into the classic you tube highlight signing. I think some of you are so desperate for him to be decent because of what he cost & a massively overhyped reputation !!!..... That's probably why we signed him and he didn't go to a decent club

We've seen signs of his quality. The only thing holding him back is playing regularly and if he ever does then he would be a big player for us I believe.
Of course because we've seen so little of him then you do have to say he's been a flop so far.

Back in the real world..... he has so far been a total waste of money and completely ineffective. Nobody is denying he has talent but nobody cares if he cant stay fit, positively effect games & help us win.... all of which he's failed to do (other than a goal vs Villa 7 months ago).... Point taken re GLC... He's been a bright spot

Lamela is "talented" too but he's also made of glass and has turned out to be failure of a signing. Its about the here & now & backing up the hype. N'dombele has played in pub leagues up till now (yes I know he had 2 good games Vs City) but right now he's proving he cant cant it at the top level. If someone back in France or elsewhere was interested in him this summer.... we should consider it. Other than Sonny & GLC (Kane is a separate issue that we wont control) I'd consider o offers for anyone in the squad. Its poorly constructed and unbalanced

To get back into the top four we need:
A powerful CF
Grealish or similar
An athletic DM with a range of passing
A top class pacey LB
A top class pacey RB
A top class LCB to replace JV
And rid of our deadwood and off the wage bill.
I can`t see Levy financing that lot without selling a major asset, so I would prepare for more of the same or the sale of the family silver.

Okay... I see now ... just caught up!
Well the side is in transition ...... mid table or worse.....at least 6 players are out or will be, and Levy has to buy 6 new ones.
Maybe Mourinho will have a say, who knows?
There are times when the side can still show some "gold", when Toby and Jan are at the back, Lo Celso and NDombele in the middle and son up front.
But now Son is gone too, so ......
I was hoping for a showing against RBLeipzig. Especially since they seem to have some key injuries too. But who knows?
