He does, should’ve started with a stronger XI in hindsight but those players should still have played better. Arsenal are just cursed in Europe

Don't think it's tactics so much as desire. You can tell we're focused on the league and as much as you can try to think otherwise, that's always gonna make you drop off a little bit in games like this. Whereas for Sporting its a chance to salvage a season that's not going too well.

We tried playing 100mph footie in both legs. Every attack was rushed, every between the lines pass was overhit.
