It will be interesting to see if Europe gets our juices flowing.

The league has just been a bit too straightforward for us recently and really has taken the edge off our play.

Will be good to have to raise our game in a real pressure tie again. Hopefully we are up for it.

Balogun for me just because of his recovery pace in a game i expect we will be pushing up a fair amount but i wouldn't be surprised to see Helander.

Kent is a stick on to start, he's at his best with space to run into that he gets in Europe.

Roofe could start due to the Belgian League knowledge. Certainty to come off the bench if not

I think the team in the OP will be spot on with the athleticism of Aribo. He does cover the ground well in Europe and his more technical game has shown up well against decent teams in the past.

Either Aribo or Roofe to do a turn - just think having Roofe to come off the bench if it isnt going well might be useful.

Either Helander or Balogoun is probably going to have to act as cover at LB because of that fookwit Bassey. Unless Simpson can perform that role as well as he is a lefty.

I would maybe leave Helander on the bench as he is more out and out left sided than Balogoun and could do a job at LB in an emergency? Dunno if he really is he just seems that way to me

That and the fact that rangers have clearly been involved in a wider covid conspiracy because we are immune.

Helanders test was faked. He just had a niggle so we said he had covid instead to throw the Celtic super sleuths off the case.

Yep. As much as it may have been a harmless wee night for those involved it has huge repercussions and I’m sure SG will be absolutely raging

So far we’ve only needed cover for a couple of weeks for Borna but if something were to happen to either FB we’d be in trouble

Now we’ll have to get rid of Paterson, who SG went out of his way to praise throughout the season and we’ll probably have to buy new cover for both positions

Just daft young lads who made an error of judgment but a career at a club the size of Rangers doesn’t happen for many hard working players and it looks like these guys could have f@cked whatever careers they had

I never said they’d be sacked but I doubt if they’ll get another chance

I doubt very much they’ll be welcomed back into the squad right away

I don't think we will get rid of them.

Same as i'm not 100% it's the end for Edmundson, if these guys are good enough we will make excuses. He wanted rid of Jones before and Edmundson needed games.

If we cut the Zungu deal early then i might think it's the end for them, if we don't the two full backs will get back in eventually.

Patterson and Bassey will be welcomed back into the squad after this I expect. They'll be punished but given a second chance.

The only way I can see Paterson or Bassey getting right back in the squad is because SG has little choice

If they’re not back in the squad in two weeks then that may tell us something

I reckon they’ll have to work their erses off to get another chance

I don’t think Zungu’s loan will be stopped but I don’t think he’s done enough to get in the squad anyway

It’s the lack of FB cover that’ll be the most annoying thing for SG, especially at this vital stage
