You mean the Rory Macilroy show ?
Sky do this all the time, with golf being the same as football.
They fixate on one person, and present the show like he is the only golfer ( or footballer ) we all want to follow 24/7, with all the other players, including those who actually might win, being ignored.
Just like I do regularly with football, I am currently following it without the volume, so I don't have to listen to all that unwarranted Macilroy gushing.

Exactly !!
I wouldn't mind if he won on a regular basis, but always the same. Starts with a big fanfare from all and sundry, get's somewhere near the top of the leader board for a couple of holes, then falls away, whilst golfers who get a fraction of the air time quietly get on with winning it.
