Yeah he has which is why i thought Jacks might play as he has been hailed as the next Moeen Ali. I just think Livi will bowl a lot of full tosses and half trackers. It's asking a lot to bowl long spells which he will need to do to enable the quicks to rest.
Still, he could be very dangerous coming in at 8.
England have been allowed up until the morning of the game if they want to postpone the days play.
Imagine having a ticket for that game.

Hmm. Presumably trying to take the pressure off and see what he can do. Come down at 8, give it a good tonk, come in and bowl a few variations and maybe break a partnership.
To be fair to Stokes, he's very good at making people feel important to the team and giving them the freedom to play their best cricket. Plenty of attacking intent in that top 8 now.
I fear this may be the series that "exposes" Bazball as I have no idea how we're going to take 20 wickets with that bowling attack on those pitches. Can easily see the seamers plus Stokes being into cooked.
Jacks would have for sure been the better option, but I have no idea why we didn't bring a proper second spinner like Parkinson.

He's back in the nets now and bowled 10 overs in the England Lions v England warm up game last week. Struck Crawley on the helmet at 90mph+.
Should be back playing properly in the new year.
The decision on the start of the Test will be taken at 2:30 am GMT (7:30 am local).
