I'm no longer sure where players are meant to put their arms? Obvs they gave a pen but football is a high intensity sport and if they're giving pens for that fair enough but it's strange when it's said it's an "unnatural position" ?

Seriously though honest question I am a VAR advocate but what is the point of it if they don't use it properly.... That penalty was so clearly not penalty as grealish's was yesterday

It's been at least a couple of years since I gave up on trying to know when a handball is a handball any more. They seem to tinker with the rules every other year, and it's reached a point where the impression is that refs & VAR can change their criteria pretty much as they go along.

Despite my hopes when it came in, VAR's done absolutely nothing to make refs more answerable or the officiating more transparent.
