No I get it when you start last and end up on the podium, but he finished 6th, mainly because 6 cars didnt make the end. I thought he had a poor race in terms of driving to the front. He was stuck in the middle of the pack for many laps.

I also hope he will now shut up about competing with Max for the WDC

Some of his overtakes were excellent. The one on Hulkenberg I think it was, was class. Gasly was a shout until he took his teammate out.

all the red flags did in this race was neutralise pit stops.

Everyone jumped onto the hards to one stop meaning that he had to pass everyone on track, then it happened again at the end.

it also removes an seconds you are behind. A restart could mean he could have jumped a few and passed a few. Anyway, whatever, in general I think he doesnt deserve driver of the day.

It also puts all those behind you back up to you also. meaning you can lose positions. a restart can be a total lottery.
