Cook is/was no way the same standard as Root

Cook had 2 maybe 3 scoring shots, he was very effective but he wasn't in Root's class

Coo much better than Root? I'd say Root is the better player but neither is much better.

KP and Root are imo the best two England batsmen of this century.

Root is on a completely different technical level. One of the best players of spin of all time as well.
