Some players will want a quick cash grab but Saudi will never ever be the place players dream of playing and winning major honours as many countries have tried to be that new hub for top players (USA over the years, China, Qatar etc) but you just can’t buy tradition.
Players want to play in front of full stadiums of frenzied fans and in games that actually matter and win the champions league etc. The Saudi league is so beige it’s inconsequential for 99.9999% of footballers at their peak.

True. But think about how many players aren't competing for trophies. Even Liverpool have only ever won the league once. Spurs haven't won a trophy in a lifetime. The vast, vast majority of players are not competing for trophies.
