Rangers won’t be able to buy him permanently I wouldn’t think. But it puts him in the shop window and if he does well there as a follow up to what he did at Anderlecht and PSV I think there’ll be plenty of interest. And playing in front of 50,000 regularly has to be good experience for him.

His Transfermarkt valuation is £13 mill

And your point is?

All depends on how many goals he gets up there really doesn't it. If he flops we'll be lucky to get much more than 7/8 for him, if he knocks a few in we might get 10/12. If he goes bonkers and smashes 15 or more then it gets interesting.

But take Cinci's point that there aren't many examples of players leaving the SPL recently to big money moves to the major leagues, Jota to Saudi, Bassey to Ajax are the only ones that standout. I think I read that they're still in Europe too so that gives him a platform.

No idea what Fabio would fetch now but I still think he’ll end up having a decent career. I would see Spain as his likely future home. Rafa Mir and William Jose have been having a decent career there and I certainly think Fabio has the potential to be better than those two

Stories emerging that both West Ham and Fulham are interested in signing Sasa in January

Be interesting if Fulham sign the player we bought to replace Jimenez to replace Jimenez

Sasa evidently also wanted by Eintracht Frankfurt and other German clubs. Certainly looks like he will be leaving and with Fabio also gone we have to presume the club have a striker lined up to come in

January this year looks like a good time to ship players out and bring a couple in. Because of the winter break we only play one league match in January and that’s Brighton away on the 22nd. And it’s a chance for GON to start to shape the squad the way he wants rather than the one he inherited. I suspect we will try to do deals on a loan basis to begin with then an obligation to buy in the summer. That gets the cost into next years accounts and helps FFP

I appreciate that we're more likely to get a player on loan with the obligation to buy, but I would prefer "an option" to buy. We struck lucky with Cunha, who had a crazy clause in his initial loan, which meant he only had to have 3 appearances to qualify for the permanent move.

With Fabio and Sasa leaving, it will be interesting to see what GON is going to do with the current squad. We can certainly play without an out and out CF, as this season has proved. So if we are bringing in someone to fill that void, is it wise to change a system that seems to be working well.

We certainly are more attacking force this season and I agree with a post the other day that we have a better duo in midfield than we had with Neves and Moutinho. In my opinion, we haven't missed Neves at all.

Lemina had to go back to France so may miss tomorrow

Sounds like his father is ill, but I do wonder who will replace him. Traore is recovering from an illness, so maybe Doyle.

Lemina’s father has been in hospital in France for two months and after the Chelsea game he dedicated his goal to him with the message ‘keep fighting dad’

Hearing that Sasa is evidently not too keen on a January move. Seems unlikely to happen unless he changes his mind.

Evidently we are interested in Adam Armstrong from Southampton. 👍

No thanks, too much like we already have.
