I know Trippier has been struggling recently but he probably still makes the TOTS.

He’s been shocking lately, so have Newcastle, shouldn’t be near tots for me

Vicario has to be the keeper of the season so far.

Vicario
Porro Saliba VVD Udogie
Rice Rodri
Maddison
Salah Solanke Watkins

MOTS - Emery

So to sumarise, a very mediocre Slurs that concede goals for fun have four players in the tots so far this season?

Gross and Dunk hardly ever make these lists but they’ve both been excellent for a few seasons now, despite a couple of dunk brain farts recently

How are so many Spurs defenders in the conversation when they concede goals every single game? Apart from the bottom three not many other teams have conceded more goals.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, the way they play hahs to factor in. Same people who discredit Trent vs rbs who play 15 yards deeper with 3 cbs next to them and 2 dms or w.e.

Romero is a bit of a hot head but cant argue hes been good, Udogie is solid. VDV was doing very well and their record defensively with him was a lot better? Be interesting to see if he'd have kept it up or make it cause VVD has been back to his best and Saliba is looking like hes gonna be the next VVD.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
OK good points, but I don't think the way they play is more attacking or front foot than us or say, Arsenal tbh.

there's not enough city players in that 11. they are only 4 off the top.

my lfc picks would be alisson vvd and salah and only those 3.

my arsenal picks would be saka and saliva for sure

yes for spurs you'd be thinking maddison, porro, son.

my city picks would have to be rodri, haaland and silva

yeah rodri is prob their key man tbf. 2 made mine, Silva is just consistent and combatative with quality too. Usually ederson and a lot of their def is in for a shout but dont think theyve been as good this season. Maybe being unfair as they set their own bars so high to be judged against.

I dont watch that much of city tbh, i find them rather boring to watch as good as they are enall the style just isnt for me.

and he was poor for points in the opener too, he had a good middle of the first half, poor start and shocking end. no way he makes it imo.

All of us and our pets know that if Spurs had their full strength team they'd be comfortably top of the league.

Meanwhile, a team who’s had an injured goalkeeper, a long term CB injury, 2 injured LBs, numerous injuries in midfield and a CF injury sits atop the league.

He’s included Maddison who’s been injured half the season ffs . The classic Spurs delusion

& I got vilified for putting two Chelsea players up who have been good & playing all season...who knew..

Allison and Martinez have been very solid this season but I think that Vicarrio has been outstanding and made some incredible save. Altho Spurs lack of clean sheets is an issue, he has not been culpable in this and I cannot think of 1 error that has lead to a goal.
