Always thought that Werner was a bit unlucky at a striker’s graveyard like Chelsea but looking at his stats at Leipzig since going back there, it’s not difficult to see why they are so keen to offload him.

Yeah not been good at all, in fact very poor.
Interesting signing. Got to be his last chance to establish himself as a top level striker. Will Angeball suit him? God knows. He has a real knack of running offside. That would be the first thing to fix.
Don't particularly rate him, but I'd assumed we'd only be strengthening CB this window so pretty much a bonus signing.
Obviously a better option than Scarlett or Gil so think this is decent business.
If he's a decent squad player £15m is a snip in the summer.
I really like Werner and i think he is great for the Ange system. Kyoto has a habit of being offside too but worked in the ange system.
I understand that this is temporary if Veliz was not injured would be interested to see if Werner would of come in. (We have to play Veliz due to work permit issues.)
However we are one of the richest clubs in the world, sold one of the best players in the world in the summer who we paid nothing for why dont we go out and raid Napoli for Kvara or Osimhen?
We use a statistic model now made famous by Brentford and Brighton but i do feel somewhat underwhelmed.
We are in a title race here lets go for it. None of this its ok if we finish sixth lets push on.
The guy is on 200K a week.

Apparently Ange was instrumental in it so that's reassuring. It looks kind of poor on paper but when you realise the manager wants it and he's a manager worth backing, then it's not so bad.
There's not much to lose. We needed goals and were probably never going to bring in a ready-made 20 goals a season guy, so we pick up the 1 goal in 3 guy (with ability to do better than that) on loan. If he works out it's great, and if in the worst case scenario he's a complete flop, then we've only got him until the loan ends.
