You've spent quite well since you brought in a proper manager. Those Chelsea castoffs had you playing poor football and you we're boring to boot. If you can get back your injured players and keep them fit you'll have a great chance at top four. Maybe even a trophy.
I think Liverpool can match your buys.

I think it’s his modus operandi that many fans can’t stand. Waiting until the final minute and ringing opposition clubs up with his lowballing

Spurs fans are so funny x

We’ve also sold arguably the best player in our history, wasted a fortune on unsuitable managers, sacked a guy a few months after he guided us to a CL final despite not spending anything that summer. We’ve hired a criminal to scout for us - although to be fair he does have an eye for a player - but kack with managers.

Levy’s problem up until this summer seemingly was never about the money he did or didn't spend, it was that we had no structure, no philosophy and no faaacking clue. Just look at the players we’re trying to get rid of, it’s a mixed bag of nuts our squad.

What he did this summer seemingly is finally realise that he doesn’t have a faaaacking clue about football and has brought in someone to take care of that side of things, kept Paratici but limited him to player purchases and stayed the faaaack out of it. His business nous in unquestionable and if he stays clear of the football side of things then we could be in for a good time.

Great seeing the rivals on here trying to banter us again - you can smell the fear in their posts.

Throw all the stats out you want but the fact of the matter is we are desperate for another cb, should have been sorted in the summer, definitely should have been sorted at the start of January, but here we are a week in and reportedly haggling over a few million. The time for such negotiation was in the summer. We are backed into a corner now, especially with the Davies injury. If something should happen to vdv on his comeback we have the realistic possibility of not being able to field a senior cb. We are supposed to be a big club, the most profitable in Europe. Go and buy the player ffs. He wants to come.
