Much as it pains me to say it, but Klopp is a great manager. He’s just had the bad luck to manage in England at the same time as Pep. I think otherwise he’d have had a few more trophies. Timing of it is wierd though. Players never cope well with uncertainty, and they’ve got half a season of it coming up.

I've got no concerns about the effect on the players. If anything it should galvanise them and motivate them to finish Klopp's reign on a high. Klopp himself will keep them focused.
