Their defence cost about 3x ours, by my calculations. So 'bare bones' is a bit of an exaggeration. But yes - perfect result for Liverpool and puts you in the driving seat

Could be because we have the guts to go there to attack and not park busses borrowed from maureen.
I hate anti football as much as the next person but our record away to City is generally awful. I'd have taken a draw before kick off and am happy with one after.
A loss would've been seriously problematic. Liverpool in the driving seat now. Would be a great send off for Klopp if he can do it, especially given the injuries this season. Heard pundits mention Cities injuries as a reason they've not been so good this season, WTF???
We've probably had the best luck with injuries so far of any of the "big clubs" although who knows whether having Partey and Timber could/would have changed things, potentially they're two of the first eleven that have basically been out the whole season.
