Quite good in patches.

Defensively suspect.

Rely almost entirely on Palmer in attack.

Better and more spirit than United though

I think they need one or two leaders as well as a top GK. They’ve got at least 5 players who’d get in our side.

Although if we win our games in hand we could easily make 6th. The team is too injury stricken and inconsistent. A lot of good individual players but also a lot of crap (caicedo, sterling, Disasi, cucurella and many many more)

Caicedo is a good player though and showed it for years at Brighton.

Sterling, again, is a player who’s done it in the EPL for years and proven how good he is at Liverpool and City

Disasi is poor on the ball, true, but he’s very good at defending.

Cucurella is slow and I agree not top drawer.

I think they're better than the table suggests and they've been unlucky with injuries but they been pretty stupid with their squad building and I don't really rate Poch.

Feels like the Arsenal banter years where we had talented young players, but no leaders and the players came through and mostly developed a soft core and a losing mentality.

Except it cost Chelsea a billion to do so.

Caicedo looked good under no pressure at BHA. Made to look good by others imo.

Why does Disasi celebrate every tackle he makes like he's scored. Very poor on the ball.

Sterling sums them up. Can be great and can be shiiiit, you never quite know what's coming.

His one defining skill at Brighton was being phenomenal under pressure, like that was literally his USP (breaking through presses) & why he was supposedly worth 100mil

Unless you're talking about pressure in terms of size of club?

He might have underwhelmed so far, but clearly at Brighton you could see that he IS a good player.

Sometimes it can take someone a season to bed in. I’d have him at United tomorrow.

Yeah. More about the pressure of a big club, expectations to win, and perform 7 or 8 out of 10 every game.

He's a dm with prem experience. I dint buy that he needs time to settle. He should be bossing it.

Don’t agree on that.

Willian went to Arsenal and was poor

Yet he’s been class for Fulham. All prem to prem moves though.

Another good example is Mahrez at City. His first year there he was poor.

I agree with Devon, Caecedo is a very average player who got lucky, I would love him to GO to ManU.

posted on 7/4/24

Willian has not been class for Fulham, decent enough for 34 or whatever he is but fails to impact many games.

Also caicedo didn’t stand out even as much as cucurella or Estupinan or gross or trossard or man other Brighton players

Trust me Caicedo is a very good player.

Just because he’s underwhelmed so far, doesn’t mean you guys should write him off.
