Cantwell on the bench too, Lawrence preferred

Wright only playing cause Sterling is being used at LB

Expecting a good overall performance from us today, some glorious chances 6 yards from goal, and Celtic to win by one at the end of it all as they seem to have a habit of doing us in these games.

Lawrence over Cantwell would have been my shout too.

Wright starting isn’t much fun though. That LB/LCB area is their weak point so they are lucky they are up against him

Surprised he went with Lawrence starting, hopefully means Cantwell has a bit of attitude about him with something to prove if he comes on later

Glad Sterling preferred at LB, for me that says everything about Clements confidence in Barisic, think he will be leaving in the summer

Don't mind the fact Scott Wright is starting, he puts a shift in, would rather Sterling over Barisic and McCausland isn't as good as Wright going forward in my opinion, still a bit naive

Would you go with McCausland over Wright Fash?

When Barisic leaves as seems likely at the end of the season, hopefully we can all remember him for some of the fantastic European performances he put in for us and not simply for being a scaredy cat who boosted the value of many Celtic wingers. Some harsh judgements on him IMO.

Sorry, have to disagree

His old Croatia coach basically said his attitude was wrong...and for me that has shone through in some big games we've had, he bricks it, and we cant have that

He's a classic confidence player. When he's confident he can boss it in Europe and in our invincible season, but when he's not confident we might as well play one of the ball boys. Doesn't mean he didn't put in some fantastic performances along the way and at one point he was one we thought we could get decent money for.

How many minutes in before Ian Crocker says this game has ‘flown by’. Its usually at around 25 mins in.

Possibly the weakest hoops team since b4 brendan arrived first time around but also a poor Rangers team but with home advantage an early rangers goal they win comfortably ,if we score first coukd be different though I would take a draw but make rangers favourites due to the mo away fans pash

Dont want to sound like Dave King....but this is Rangers mate

We cant have players that are that bad simply because their confidence is down, and I dont know many international players whos form slumps as badly as his does when he's "not confident"

In short, we have to be winning at a canter and for everything to be rosy in order for him to be playing well....we are usually going to be involved title races and the pressure is on to perform in every game..just cant have a player who dips up and down so much
...and its not just been against Celtic either, that Danny Armstrong tormented him at Rugby Park at the end of Feb, his mistake basically gave them the penalty, we went in at HT 1-0 down, and Clement subbed him aff at half time for Yilmaz, who was way way more positive and assured

Celtics strongest team apart from Calmac not starting?

Obviously a tough game for the Gers. I wouldn't be too unhappy with a draw, to be honest.

Would bite hand off for a draw with it all coming down to the game at CP.

I don't disagree that those weaknesses make him a liability and I do much prefer Yilmaz (who, incidentally, was also harshly written off by many until this year), but Borna is leaving so let's say thanks for the good times, give him a montage of his best moments, and let some team in Turkey worry about his weaknesses.
