I don't think Ding has the bottle anymore to get to a World final unfortunately

he's one of my favourite players and I would love it if he wins the world Title

Really hope Judd can win it this year. He badly needs to be a multi world champion. He should really have been on 3 by now to be honest.

It's more out of hope these days - he's improved in the past 18 months or so and especially this season, compared to since pre-covid times. And he's not won a tournament in a while, so maybe this is the time..............I would just love him to win it.

Well I'm hoping for 8-8-8, can't really see a firm favourite. but the usual suspects of Ronnie, Judd,, Selby Robbo, Allen, Williams, can't see Luca winning again, a big seed may go out if they get Robbo, or Lisowski,.... Can't wait... As for Jimmy reaching the Crucible... Not a chance....

I've not really been following the qualifiers yet. I probably will when it gets to the last few rounds.

I would like to see Marco Fu get through - although could have a tough match against Vafaei if he manages to beat Ken Doherty.

So many big names in the third round, and these days you tend to get at least one qualifier who goes on a decent run in the tournament proper.

Could be a number of upsets in the first round proper.

Potential toughest round 1 ever..
I remember Ronnie getting Maguire in 2005, Maguire was the UK Champion, & a top 4 player almost then... Ronnie was 9-7 down, but won 10 - 9, phew...

Stan Moody out, Reanne Evans lost 10-0!

Deary me. Unfortunately the female players are just not good enough to play on the main tour.

Think they all lost yesterday, Rebecca Kenna lost 10 - 1

I'm not sure if it is realistic to expect female players to be able to compete with males, especially over longer matches.

Sure they can make decent breaks on an inconsistent basis, but having watched the mixed doubles a couple of weeks ago, I wasn't overly impressed.
