No I mean the 1990s.
I know many Macunian football fans went to City and United in the pre war period through to ground share into the 50s.... but with the rivalry and aggro of the 60s 70s 80s in my experiences anyway you were either Red or Blue and never the twain.
However last time I saw City in the flesh outside a derby match was at the play-off final at Wembley on the way back from Barcelona in 1999 with tickets we got from a director of Gillingham at work.

I have to admit, I dislike Arsenal and Liverpool more than City, although I wish all 3 could lose the title
But whilst it's good that Ineos have come in and things are changing in the background, ultimately it's all about the main man who is picking and managing the team - if that's not right, then you'll never be successful.
City are no different to when we were on top - moaning about fixture congestion, everyone wanting us to lose etc etc, it just goes with the territory.
I do find that City aren't an exciting team to watch, even when they score loads of goals - I know they like to control games with possession etc, but it does feel like death by a thousand cuts at times

I disagree - you can have great players, but not necessarily win the league. Of course to win the title, you do need to have a great squad, but without the right manager, you won't win anything.
I'm not sure Moyes could win the league with city's squad.
There are always exceptions, such as Leicester, but it's more about managing those players and keeping them happy, not just who is out on the pitch.

Juventus possessed one of the best squads in Europe with the likes of Gianluigi Buffon, Fabio Cannavaro, Patrick Vieira, Pavel Nedved and Zlatan Ibrahimovic lining up on the field, while Fabio Capello directed them from the dugout.
Before they were convicted there was loads of admiration, nowadays Juventus are rightly known as recurrent cheats.
The outcome of the investigation will dictate future recollections.

To be fair, I’m not sure any of the accusations against us are comparable to the Galactic empire or Mussolini!

Pep moaning about the health of his players after being forced to play today after their midweek game.
Can someone tell Pep is upto him what team he puts out.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Shearer pretty much told him that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And if he fielded a second string today he'd be accused of disrespecting the cup. Can't win either way really but I don't think it would of been hard to allow us the Sunday fixture?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s utter bolllocks.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Go on 🙄

Nothing wrong with Pep stating we play against the top team in Europe on the Wednesday, United, Coventry and Chelsea don't play mid-week and we're on first, we should've played Sunday, whats the problem here?

Juventus possessed one of the best squads in Europe with the likes of Gianluigi Buffon, Fabio Cannavaro, Patrick Vieira, Pavel Nedved and Zlatan Ibrahimovic lining up on the field, while Fabio Capello directed them from the dugout.
Before they were convicted there was loads of admiration, nowadays Juventus are rightly known as recurrent cheats.
The outcome of the investigation will dictate future recollections.

Are they? I think they are still seen as a big tie by most fans if drawn in Europe

"I think they are an admirable club in many ways..
Taking cheating aside."
The Death Star was an impressive feat of engineering.
Mussolini made the trains run on time.
