Fantastic! Hope tomorrow will be as memorable.
I’ve never been to Loftus Road, I can only remember seeing QPR once, that was another memorable day winning 2-1 at home in the 5th round of the FAC back in ‘87.

Yep, as Paddy said (post-match Presser), don’t care how we do it now, just got to win๐Ÿ‘

I was at that game also, we went on the pitch after the final whistle. Even rubbed shoulders with Don Revie on the pitch. Great memories.

Last time I was there was March 11th 1992, (just to balance it out), the infamous 4-1 defeat.

On the tube I remember we were stood next to Tony Booth (Cherie's dad) who'ed been to the game and some Swedish lads from Stockholm who were depressed as this was their yearly trip over to watch Leeds. They said to me that this was the game where we had just blown our chances and I said no we haven't! - Who was right?
Oh the absolute joy of remembering that lot from over the Pennines totally implode and us winning by 4 points.

Gosh Tony Booth (‘Til Death Us Do Part’ and all that๐Ÿ‘) … yep, wish I could say I’d take a repeat of that fortune if it guaranteed us autos but (I think?) there were still 8 or 9 games to play after that defeat?

In 93, I'd switched from Despatch riding to computing and was earning peanuts.

I used to man the players car park at QPR (was a school play ground round the corner), so they'd turn up in range rovers, Id give them lift to ground in their car and drive it back to car park for them.

Always remember Rufus brevity being really friendly and some friend of players always tipping well to drop his Range Rover back.

Met Leslie Silver when Leeds played, really nice man....those were the days!

Brilliant! Was hoping some others on here were also there๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘ ...................................................................................... I remember we went down on the train from Leeds to Kings Cross on a packed train, and for some reason they made us walk to the tube line that took us to I think White City, and walked us from there to the ground.

I was also at that game - I had been to most home games that season (travelled down from Boro as I was at Teesside Poly)…but I couldn’t get in - there were I think 34,000 at that game, after struggling to get 20K to games. I had to stand on the hill and listen to the crowd for the whole game with many others.๐Ÿ™

What a game that was in '87 - remember being in the Gelderd End and you could see a very large crowd were locked out.

Electric atmosphere, fabulous memory.

I went to the '74 game with 3 mates. Took over the local QPR fans pub with about 150 others.
Great to watch Sniffer pick up the ball in the centre circle and just make short work of finishing in front of us. Oh for his type now..........

Loftus Road aka Elland Road at least as far as the producers of Porridge are concerned.
