Anyway I've had a wonderful day today, Annecy, lake, snow topped mountains and a good lunch. All with daughters both and the granddaughters, plus I didn't drive.
Coming back I wondered :
A win should be celebrated even if you are sixth.
Liverpool, City, Arsenal, us, Spurs all think that with the right set up, top to bottom, we can be champions. Only one of us can, so enjoying the football and wins is what counts.
Has it got to only one set of fans being happy with the season.

It's a little disrespectful to fans who pay their hard earned money to watch their team get hammered, and the next day hear a player say he is over it and having a giggle about fashion or rappers.

For better or worse, for 80% of PL players football is just a job. Nice to win a trophy, beat your rivals etc? Sure. Main concern is earning as much as possible whilst thinking ahead to the end of your playing career.

Keane is one of the biggest Bell ends out there. Spouts total nonsense 90% of the time just to stroke his own ego.

Yeah, this has worked out for players like Dele and Lingard. How's their football doing?

Probably need to have a balanced life between both viewpoints. So obviously you give everything in training and whilst playing, but you need to have some time to switch off also - that goes for anything you do in life

Perhaps I should add, and a bit of common sense. I accept it's a harsh world out there and you will always get OTT reactions, but at the same time you have to be aware of that and perhaps be a bit street-wise at times
