Impressive record but as we know he came to what was arguably already the best team in the league, a luxury not afforded to someone like Ferguson, who had to build it up to be in that position.

As much as I agree with that sentiment with Ferguson, we needed a fair amount of rebuilding when Pep came in too.
The surprising one to me is Mourinho. Thought he’d have got there quicker although not sure what clubs that covers.

Reckon Mourinho only had oil cheat money for about half of those 300. The other half were spent at honest clubs where he had to use money earned. Pep has been 100% cheat money so not as impressive

Fergie inherited Bryan Robson who was the country’s most expensive player at the time, he also inherited a great youth squad.
I’m not denying he did a good job but the United Myth Machine would have you believe he started with a squad on a par with Stockport’s 2nd XI

Yeah, instead of striving to improve, let's regress the level of the premier league so that 75 points will win the title.

£2bn, a UEFA sanction on squad size, 115 unresolved charges and multiple offshore bank accounts.

Someone's really swallowed the sports washing pill they've been dishing out at the Etihad. I think I heard a similar justification from the guy who's trying to set up a rival games to the Olympics where they're allowed to take PED's.
