“However, I've not read of any offers coming in for them”
I’d be surprised if we received offers before the transfer window opens?
Sarabia has been a disappointment for me and with just 12 months+ left on his contract, he'd be one I'd let go. He's also the highest paid at the club. Lembikisa has been playing as a right wing back at Hearts and young Lemina looked good in the U21 game I saw him in. Very quick, but picked up an injury.
Sarabia has massively improved this season, allegedly our highest earner and I would agree that that's not reflective of his performanceses but that's not his fault. He brings quality but does lack the pace and power to be a top performer in this league but I would keep him unless we get a silly offer for him.
Don't really understand the comment about keeping younger players instead of sending them on loan. Surely they are better off getting games and professional first team experience under their belts rather than sitting on our bench and playing u21 football?
Only caveat to that is possibly Silva, was stupid to let him and Sasa go and then not bring a forward in. Chiquinho may have played some games had he stayed but no where near as many as he has in Portugal.
I don't really see, with the exception of Mosquera possibly, that any of the loan players have put in the type of performances on a regular basis that would make O'Neil particularly excited about having them in the squad next season either. He might want to see what he can get out of Hoever, Hodge and Cundle maybe before looking at options to loan again or sell in January.
We seriously need to take a good look at the players that have been well below par for the last 10 games.
GON has to decide soon who needs to go and we can getvdevent offers for the likes of Hwang, Kilman, Sarabia and Semedo (who both have one year left other contracts) then that's a start. It may well be that one or two others may want to leave.
I'll say again, that our defence needs to be revamped and a decent striker wouldn't go a miss either.
