Fair play to you Castor, top poster

Whatever happens on Sunday, even as a Spurs fan I have to admit, your team has been brilliant this year.

Think someone needs to have a word with ‘it’s all about the back four’ though. He’s having a proper meltdown

Castor Troy, just watching Man City as I know we play them soon. We need to win this time so losers Arsenal don’t get another chance for a lucky community shield win lol. Funny we outplayed Man City in FA Cup and lose. Man City outplay Arsenal in the community shield and lose.

Pep said: we have to win the next 9 games otherwise "ciao ciao".
Arsenal fans: "YES, WELL DONE ARSENAL " after parking the bus for a 0-0 draw.

Different gravy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Good thing you didn't have to play arsenal then.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why? you'd just park the bus again without doing anything. Should we be worried?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, yeah. You're lapping up saying Pep said he needs to win all of the last 9 games. And you've shown you can't beat arsenal this season.

Fair play though, remarkable consistency against the lesser sides.

Ortega was the hero against Man Utd as well.😂 I rather Ederson play the final.

It's been a great season. Mentally the players showed they'd grown and they're still a fairly young squad which is promising.

posted 2 weeks, 3 days ago

You'd have to be a brave man to bet against Arsenal winning a title in the next 2 or so seasons.

You're strange. Why would you think I'm crying?
That non-event is one of the reasons why the league table is as it is. Have you checked it yet? lmao.

Solid? it's been a brilliant, record-setting season for us ffs. Dont let City being insane take away from that.

posted 2 weeks, 3 days ago

Arsenal have improved from last season but let's get the right:

City would win the league with a maximum of 91 points - only 2 points better than last year. The best team they've beaten this season are finishing 4th.

You really think City will get roughly that amount of points or less next season? You really think City will not get more wins against the top half sides than they did this season?

Arsenal are gonna have to raise their standards even higher just to take it to the final day next season, let alone win it.

I expect Arsenal to improve I mean they have improved from last season to this season. Why are we assuming City will automatically gey better I mean there really ain't much higher they can go. De-Bruyne is getting older and more injury prone Walker has to be replaced soon as well. These players are irreplaceable to them other players they can replace and not worry but these are integral to them. The level will naturally drop when they go because there are not players around as good as them.

posted 2 weeks, 3 days ago

The crazy thing is if pep is still here next season, City will probably to 5 in a row.

Walker and KDB can still play for another year and pep will inevitably buy well in the summer

We need to be challenging. Thats all you can ask against this City team

There's a very strong and solid base now with the defense + Rice in front, so every transfer from now on has to be spot on or a major hit (for the 70m+ ones) if you see the parallels with how Liverpool beat City from a similar position.

The only key difference is that Liverpool 'lucked out' by starting out with an incredible offense with Salah/Mane, which are the toughest positions to buy quality in. I don't see any immediate improvements for the centre forward position, unless we get Kane from Bayern but that might be a bit sensitive transfer...

No honestly the guys who are available are just sidegrades, trading better finishing for worse link up play or work rates. I also don't really rate Toney at a top 4 side as the primary striker, but will gladly eat my words if he actually comes and outperform :P

City have probably got a fair bit more work to do in the summer than Arsenal. De Bruyne, Walker, Bernardo Silva, Kovacic all past their best and a few will probably need to be replaced. Doku is utter shiiite, and feels like Pep is over Grealish. They need to solve their big game problem which to me feels like Haaland, usually lives in the pockets of good defenders.

With that being said, Pep is brilliant at it so yeah will be another 90 point season I'm sure.

For the last time:

My comment was based on my opinion that if Arteta and *some* of your fan base had had a more positive angle into the Etihad game, you *might* be ahead in the league and yesterday's game wouldn't really have mattered in the end. At the time, you were the league's top scorers, and still the best defence. Yes, you *might* have lost, but we will never know. It's just my opinion.

There were some comments about Liverpool at the Etihad. At least they tried. Same with us at Anfield. At least we tried.

Again, I have no beef with Arsenal nor any of its fans. If you win it on Sunday, then you deserve it.

You being so attached to my opinion suggests that you see some weight to what I said.
