I wouldn't blow my load too early if I were you. The PL have probably struck a deal with them to just give them a slap on the wirst.
The one thing i do know , you guys are going to go kicking & screaming if it does become a reality
All I can see, is a financial problem being adjudicated and fixed financially, the PL will do very well out of it, and ManCity will carry on as normal after apologising and having their bottoms kicked,......... and don't do it again !
Well, i'm not convinced it will be that straight forward for City.
They seem to have been relying upon their financial muscle and business acumen to delay and obstruct the process, instead of transparently acting to resolve the matters they insist they claim that they are not guilty of.
I think this type of high profile could go either way for them tbh.
Dont forget that the League is being brought into government regulation, imo it is very unlikely that they will be able to simply brush this case under the carpet.
Nothing to see hear?

Transparent? City asked for the hearing to be held in public, the PL refused point blank.
There may have been some delaying tactics in the hopes of a new Independent Football Regulator being installed by the Government which may still happen.

That's almost impossible to do.
We have seen 10 point deductions for single, admitted breaches of FFP.
Multiple, contested breaches and any 'covering up' would be far more harshly dealt with. The precedent has been set
But whatever the outcome we can expect an Appeal to CAS so for me the timing would likely not see a final decision until next summer at the very earliest, probably extending into 25/26 season as its a big complex case (their 2 year UEFA ban was handed down in Feb 2020 and CAS had ruled on it by late July 2020).
SO 2 more years of the cheats. We'll probably see a mass exodus of players and Pep next summer.
Boris, I think that it will come down to technicalities, which will favour the club for sure.
But mate imo, the government regulator will just make a huge mess, thats on the cards!
CL expulsion for a season, 30 points deduction, transfer embargo and a big fine will probably do it. None of that will hurt them too drastically.

Depends on what they are found guilty of.
They are accused of 7 counts of breaching PL FFP.
Other clubs have been hit with 3-10 points for such breaches and that is where they have admitted them.
City are contesting them and it goes further than that because the PL are charging them on this basis that this breach has occurred because their figures have not been reported accurately. That's effectively 2 breaches - inaccurate information, supplied with the intention to prove compliance with PSR.
Given the precedent set by punishments already handed down to EFC etc, you'd expect a minimum 6 pt deduction for each breach alone, before addressing any covering up through the reporting of inaccurate figures. And in that respect there are also charges relating to undeclared payments to the manager and players which is a whole separate raft of charges and possible punishments.
ALSO...i correct myself from early. I do not believe City can Appeal to CAS on any decision, although they can appeal to the PL. But that will still take time to conclude.
If you're talking about Leicester you might be right.
I thinl i sawd a figger ware if Man Cs* eete 2b punish in line with ither clubs who braked rules they wud b demote 2 8rd division n halve a 100pt deduction in each of neckessed 10 seasons
