i don't understand many on here at times, far too many knee jerk reactions, spouting off at the drop of a hat

chill out, early days, xfer window still open, unbeaten, stable squad at last, a few signings and we should be in the thick of it

oh and on that james' goal, absolutely stunning finish, if that was foden, saka or sala they would be creaming all over it.....

Great result - considering we lost so many of our top players in the last few weeks. Clean sheet away from home again is good. Cant wait to see Largie coming in with Gnonto(who hopefully stays) and Joseph upfront - fireworks !!!

Glad to see James rediscovering his lost confidence - the guy has massive potential.

Think how dull ja would be if we didn't.

Not sure I can chill out. I'm in the knee jerk camp.
Stable squad we aren't. However, you are bang on
overall. 49ers need to get their collective ar$es
in top gear and add the 4 (or more) Farke demands.

No doubt, I'm guilty as you've charged.

Nah it was shocking keeping, and he didnt connect how he wanted to.

But he’s played well for 12 months.

On the kneejerk, football is emotional, life is emotional.

Its been a poor summer so far, and nothing changes that

Watching Brighton man utd at the moment Rutter on the bench. Think he'll fit in well on this team

First two games he played it looked like he’d gone backwards. Anonymous in both really. Or was he just used incorrectly?

Anyway it was great to see him back to his speedy best last night.

I like the bloke but we have to play to his strengths.

Really? Know what he was trying to do and kind of did it. But me and Beckford both think he stubbed it, hit the turf before ball and got away with it !

Lots of talk about Dan's goal. He did exactly what he was trying to do, dink the goalie.
Scuff or hit it clean the result is what he was going for.

DJ is a top player in terms of attitude and one of my favourites. Who else would fly down to play a game after the birth of his child? Gives everything, all the time. His game is steadily improving and his finish yesterday, complete with goofy eyeballs, was sublime. Is he improving enough to cut it in the Premier League if we go up? Hopefully, we will find out next season. He is a model pro and on his way to becoming a legend at this club.
