Leicester had five shots on target to our three. The second half wasn’t great from us, apart from Nacho’s goal.

Understat had XG Man Utd 1.24 to Leicester 0.42. Leicester basically had one decent chance all game that Onana came out for and blocked which was an XG of 0.28. Defensively we looked really solid. Its like Ruud instructed them we are not letting them score today.

Thats what we were missing, a manager who tells the players not to concede.

I observed we went all back in our shape. That is why the 2nd half was so boring. Like two teams cancelled each other out. We knew we just had to stop them to get the 3 points. They didn’t want to overcommit like the league cup game and concede more.

Because he's been told not to concede. Fair play.

This team actually could be unstoppable if they learnt how to finish. Hope Ruud stays and teaches them to finish.

If we’d won just two of the games we should have - Palace and West Ham, we’d be third!!

If you watched the game you would have seen them have one decent chance all game. Sort of reminded me of the Europa League game.

Amorim Watch: Sporting just came back from 2-0 down to beat fifth placed Braga 2-4 away from home in Amorim’s last game in charge.

Subs made the difference as Morita and Harder came off the bench to score three goals.
