Someone not even mentioned vs Bale's best season.
Salah vs. Bale: A Comparison of Premier League Masterclasses
Both Mohamed Salah's 2017/18 season with Liverpool and Gareth Bale's 2012/13 season with Tottenham Hotspur stand as remarkable individual campaigns in Premier League history. However, a definitive judgment on which was "better" is subjective and depends on various factors.
Let's break down their key statistics and accomplishments:
Salah's 2017/18: A Goal-Scoring Phenomenon
Goals: 32
Assists: 10
Key achievements: Premier League Golden Boot, PFA Player of the Year, Champions League final appearance
Salah's season was a masterclass in goal-scoring. His pace, dribbling, and finishing were a constant threat to defenses. His ability to create chances for himself and his teammates made him a complete attacking force. While Liverpool narrowly missed out on the league title, Salah's contributions were instrumental in their resurgence.
Bale's 2012/13: A Force of Nature
Goals: 21
Assists: 5
Key achievements: Record-breaking transfer to Real Madrid
Bale's season was marked by his incredible athleticism and powerful strikes. His ability to score from distance and his pinpoint crosses made him a nightmare for defenders. His performances were so impressive that he earned a then-world-record transfer to Real Madrid.
Arguments for Salah's Season
Goal-scoring record: Salah's 32 goals were slightly higher than Bale's 21.
Assists: Salah contributed more assists, demonstrating his all-round attacking game.
PFA Player of the Year: Salah was recognized as the best player in the league by his peers.
Arguments for Bale's Season
Impact on the team: Bale's performances were arguably more transformative for Tottenham, elevating them to Champions League contenders.
Record-breaking transfer: His performances justified a world-record fee, showcasing his exceptional talent.
Ultimately, the debate between Salah's 2017/18 and Bale's 2012/13 is a matter of personal preference. Both players produced extraordinary seasons that will be remembered for years to come. While Salah's goal-scoring prowess and all-round impact were exceptional, Bale's athleticism and ability to change games with a single moment were equally impressive.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
AI needs to stop being so woke. Just say it, Salah's was better. No need for this personal preference guff. What next, comparing female stats with males to determine the best?

Insane talent, if the best prem 11 was done on ability alone he surely makes it. Scored in big games too, proper athlete. Shame he didnt care so much in the end and half arrsed. As a player he sheits all over someone like Giggs imo, they play a 1v1 and Bale smashes him to bits it wouldnt even be close would it? Or if you cloned each for an 11v11 theres only one winner.
Giggs might have been the better team player, more professional etc... Never a better footballer or athlete than Bale though not even close.
I was so desperate for Utd to sign Bale when he went to Madrid.

Unless Bale is some god on a football pitch then you're basically saying Giggs is cack, not a "wonderful" player.
Smashes him to bits.
We're talking about Ryan Giggs here, not Ryan Bertrand. They're two different people.

Its one thing to say you think that Bale had more ability, but no-one is going to take you seriously when you are saying he sheits all over Giggs. Have a day off you plonker.
As good as Bale was, he didn't have the same dribbling ability that Giggs had. He relied more on his pace and power. Nothing wrong with that, but Giggs was the more skillful player for me.

Both Mohamed Salah's 2017/18 season with Liverpool and Gareth Bale's 2012/13 season with Tottenham Hotspur stand as remarkable individual campaigns in Premier League history. However, a definitive judgment on which was "better" is subjective and depends on various factors.

As a fellow Welshman, I don't think he's the best Welsh footballer even.
It would be Ryan Giggs or John Charles for me.
I think people forget how good Giggsy was because of his sh!tty behaviour off the field.

Man U fan here. Bale was superior to Giggs

At golf yes.

Only fellow Man U fans would say Giggs was better than Bale. I think only when you get to my level of football intelligence do you leave your biases behind, though.
I am happy to hold seminars or drop in sessions to try and get your understanding of the game up, if there is a demand?

Not at all, Giggs was a wonderful player.

"As a player he sheits all over someone like Giggs imo, they play a 1v1 and Bale smashes him to bits it wouldnt even be close would it?"
Unless Bale is some god on a football pitch then you're basically saying Giggs is cack, not a "wonderful" player.
Smashes him to bits.
We're talking about Ryan Giggs here, not Ryan Bertrand. They're two different people.

Well yes, but I do try to be objective.
