No it's not remotely similar.

With a bottle of wine, you choose the wine yourself, and then often get an opportunity to taste it, before being asked whether it is suitable. If it is not then you may be given an alternative.

With a massage, or at least in the case of this massage, you did not choose the masseuse. In fact you were likely given a masseuse that the hotel knew to be shoddy. Unlike the wine, you then tell it how it should perform. It should then perform in that manner, not in some other manner. You can not (in this hotel) stop the massage and ask for another masseuse if it does not do so. Your options are to proceed knowing that it is not satisfactory, or you can object and try to avoid payment.

Proceeding and the massage being of poor quality, does not validate the hotel or the masseuse. The hotel knows that a significant sum of money is being paid in expectation for a good quality massage, not a load of cpra that is contrary to the instructions given to the massesue and which finished a little over half way through.

You are just being a twta, and your syhty invalid opinions are inconsequential.

There was no point. That was how she gave a massage. Whatever I would have said, even if she changed briefly, within a minute it would have been back to fingers and thumbs. I'd already told her how I wanted the massage.
