I'm such an idiot. I read about half of that Wikipedia page trying to figure out if he'd been linked to Spurs or something as I couldn't work out why it had been posted..

Also I'm annoyed I just saw a guy in the street wearing a Philadelphia Eagles shirt. Hopefully just a tourist

Sad someone was died and another seriously injured or it would have been a cool video/story.

Prem are considering introducing a luxary tax instead of points deduction for breaking PSR rules. Sounds like a good idea.

The taxed money would then be distrubted between the clubs who comply with the rules.

They have wage caps. Whatever the cap threshold is you have to pay x amount depending on how much you go over.

For the prem it would a tax imposed over a loss amount figure of say £100m. The devil will be in the detail. Better than a points deduction and there are still sanctions.

- $0-5 million above tax line: $1.50 per dollar (up to $7.5 million)
- $5-10 million above tax line: $1.75 per dollar (up to $8.75 million)
- $10-15 million above tax line: $2.50 per dollar (up to $12.5 million)
- $15-20 million above tax line: $3.25 per dollar (up to $16.25 million).

For every additional $5 million above tax line beyond $20 million, fees increase by $0.50 per dollar.

That's pretty strong. So you go 10m over, you're spending 17.5m. Is it an effective deterrent Edin?

Former #Tottenham owner Joe Lewis has been sentenced to 3 years probation and will face a fine of $5m for insider trading.

The FreeJoeLewis campaign worked lads. Well done.
