Watched MOTD highlights this evening with no prior knowledge of any of tonight's scores. Can't believe we lost that! Saw Coates come on and thought he might score but not like that. Score a wonder goal and still lose.
Inevitably we hit the post yet again then score a deserved second before we somehow crumble. Of course Djibril was likely to score against us, I still rate him and wish things had been different between him and Rafa but don't get me started on Rafa and his use of strikers.
I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but recently we don't seem to have defenders on the posts for corners and other dangerous set pieces. I'm no manager but if I was this would be my first bit of advice to defenders in these situations. A man on the post might have prevented the first goal.
Credit to QPR though, they never gave up.

Its nothing new, scraping draws against so called relegation fodder is simply not good enough in light of whats been spent and purchased.
Its not a surprise to me,and it will continue, don't think for one minute that kenny will start blooding the kids cos the league season is over,he'll still want to justify the wasters he brought in.

Cisse had all the attributes to be a top striker except he had no footballing brain. He had two good feet, was quick as lightning, and decent in the air but every time he went through one-on-one he'd lash it as hard as he could at the keeper. Incredibly frustrating.
If you put Henry's brain in Cisse's body the lad would have been one of the best strikers in the world ever, but unfortunately he had no composure whatsoever and he wasn't good enough for what we needed at the time. Admittedly he's probably better than Carroll at the moment though.

Cisse scored 18 league goals i think from the right wing in his last season before being shipped out,i'd still have him over the pedestrian carroll now!

Credit to you for giving credit to them. All King Kenny could bring himself to say last night was that you deserved the win and that QPR got lucky.
Couldn't even bring himself to congratulate a newly-promoted side for overturning a 2-0 deficit.
Poor form from him.

Thats because he's not going to admit to ballsing it up again.

QPR deserved credit for fighting back, but were also lucky to have been in that position, because Liverpool could have had more goals, whereas QPR barely threatened.
Kenny acknowledged all of this; I'm not sure what your problem is.

There's no need to be quite so touchy
I didn't read the entire interview, in the parts I read he actively implied QPR had been lucky... Given his previous form when people have tried to interview him, you can see how that led me to believe that he was being a bit harsh.
I now see that he followed it up by giving them credit. Although I still feel to even MENTION the word "luck" when talking about a team who just turned around a 2 goal deficit against you within 15 minutes (especially a newly promoted side playing against a team with a kit deal like Liverpool's) is slightly unnecessary.
