I am sick of the bias people on here. Who ever thinks Torres had a good game last night is just deluded. Yes he worked hard and tried to retain the ball. That is what all strikers should do (Drogba is 34 and getting on, so dont say he doesnt show that determination).
Anyway my point. People saying Ramires wasnt good last night. Well I agree but he sure worked hard (Just like Torres) but no one is saying that he was playing well. We need a striker who works hard for the team and can create or take a chance. Torres I believe can do that but the biasness he gets on the Chelsea board is just ridiculous even when he doesnt play well. Stig you are a prime example of what I am talking about.
DONT JUST SUPPORT TORRES, SUPPORT THE TEAM!!!!!!
Torres and Ramires

How did we get in such a state that we play our best and only box2box midfield player as a right winger?
Robben must be laughing his a-se off

I wasn't on last night, but anyone who criticsed Ramires is silly. He was playing ridiclously out of position. I hope that selection choice wakes Sturridge up to his selfishness.
Torres was alright. Similar to his game against Arsenal earlier this season (which incidentally was his next game after his Genk brace). In that he was getting in the box but we couldn't pick him out properly. So going by previous, he'll slowly drift further and further out wide because that's the only way he recieves the ball.
I understand the bias towards him though. He's our only striker whose playing for the team rather than himself. If Drogba/Sturridge had his work ethic and selflessness, we wouldn't be having these debates.

Bias against Drogba is ridiculous at times as well.
TBF Ramires got a lot of fleck for his performance last night

Tbh I really was appalled by Drogba's performance last night
Torres at least had a few good touches from what I saw (however I didn't see the whole game so forgive me here)
Basically the lesser of two failures. It's not so much the fact that Drogba played terribly (which he did) but it just seemed like a complete lack of effort, wheras in games like Napoli/Valencia he really tried to win every header (and was most of the time successful)
Maybe it's just his age
Having said all this, people said Torres also looked disinterested
