Don't know if this has been been said before, I am just rounding up for the day and I felt I should voice out my opinion. In as much as I will like Torres to regain full form I don't want us to be starting with him or rather we should always start with Drogba. He might not be doing much due to his age or attitude or both but he is a more potent striker and we are more likely to score with him up front. I was really disappointed yesterday, Ramires, Lampard and Meireles were all rubbish. RDM has taken a step backwards in securing the job. imo.

Essien cost us the game but I don't blame RDM for that, how was he to know beforehand how Essien will perform.

Same as AVB. It's easy to mange when everything's fresh, once you start getting close to it and the overthinking and second guessing starts, you're in trouble. That's why we need a bonfide starting XI set of players and formation. We still don't know what our best team and formation is.

He was never in line to get the job and would have to win the CL to have a sniff.

so what next, where do we go from here, who do we start against Spurs, it seems its the Avb scenerio once again, no one is sure who he'll play or what tactics, if any, to deploy...

United don't have a best team or formation, City don't have a fully figured starting XI. It's not a hindrance to have competition.

I disagree. I think Torres was a great deal better than Drogba was last night and I feel that we should start with Torres rather than Drogba from now on.

It has been tried, tested and failed everytime so far, but I still think a good manager could find a way to play them both in a starting line up.............I am not a good manager so don't ask me how to do it.
