We got to the EC quarter finals, how about you ? What is your record in Charity shield, think we have 3 wins. See you had another derby day defeat by the trotters, becoming a bit of a habit .

You played 4 games winning two, losing two one of which was the Q/final vs Hamburg 4-1
We have qualified for europe 7 times and have won more than two games so what is the point you make?
the charity shield can be by invitation so doesn't really count.
We haven't won the old 4th division either but that's because we never slipped that far

Both clubs have spent 112 years in the top flight.
As stated earlier Rovers have more title wins to their name.
more FA Cup wins, plus twice as many semi final appearances.
More League Cup wins plus semi or quarter final appearances.
If you want a statistic where Dingleton FC have more wins than your obviously superior neighbours, you must look to the old 3rd Div title where you win by 5 to 3

We have won more than 2 games in europe. The 2 wins you refer to are European Cup only. We certainly never lost to Trelleborg.........Europes equivalent of Sabden Wanderers ( apologies to Sabden, its a nice place).
Since when is the Charity by invitation ? Champs v Cup winners unless sombody does the double.
Anyway thanks for spending hours of your valuable time researching the stats, hopefully you were at The Reebok yesterday and not stuck behind your computer.

...Sorry 4 wins in the Fairs Cup in which Kilmarnock reached the semi?
as I said...qualification for europe is a prize in itself, the games thereafter are a bonus.
even Lawro describes the Charity Shield as a "glorified friendly"
Dingles won two and Rovers one...i've actually been to see my Team in the Charity shield...have you?

Garners, I forgot to say, no Charity Shield win since 1921, now thats what I call a long time without a win. Unless you are 91 then I guess you have never seen them win.
