..despite the most embarrassing result for many years and conceding the most goals ever at ER it's crazy that we can still be in a position to qualify for the playoffs!! ...a loss is a loss and at the end of the day it's three points down the drain...but we can still do It and I reckon we will!...it's been a mad season in a mad division. West Hams wheels are falling off ..Reading lost..Birmingham lost and it's like the teams above us want to help out!...after a great performance versus West Ham we shoot ourselves in the foot again!...Jeckyll and Hyde ?...now let's show Millwall what we are made of and take three points...it's still mathematically possible to make the playoffs and so we should believe we can!..Warnock will now seperate the men from the boys for the final matches...MOT!

Arsenal had many injuries and through a lack of ambition had lost Nasri and Fabregas without replacing them at that point. They were playing the champions away where they were on a terrific home run following on from last season.
Man U were down to 10 men remember before they totally collapsed and they were playing an exceptional and very expensively assembled team.
What's our excuse? Oh yeah, we were tired having played Saturday whereas Forest had a week rest. Hardly the same and this is the business end of the season.

A 3 day rest compared to a 10 day one is a big difference. Doesn't totally excuse the performance, but is a factor. To say otherwise is ridiculous......

.. and they have a much harder work ethic since Warnock arrived. I remember thinking against Southampton, Midds and West Ham what a difference he has made to that part of our game. But it knackered the midfiled in particular and he should have rested a few against Forest. Hindsight is a great gift though

Forest had 7 days rest as they played Derby away last Tuesday, a game in which Tudgay got sent off and they lost late on. Must have been a demoralising defeat and yet another game where they couldn't score. 17.5% of Forest's goals this season are against Leeds. In 17/37 games this season they have failed to score. It was an embarrassment the other night and no excuse can make up for it.
As for the rest of the season, we will keep going and try to win every game as always.

If we did get promoted we would get slaughtered week in week out in the premiership with the team we have now! Even if we did spend in the summer we would not have the team to stay up!
Have this summer get in new Players have a season for them to gel then get promoted!
It's not giving up Eric it's looking towards the future in a sensible fashion!
