The match at Luftus Road summed up for me our season and the team performances under Dalglish. Dominant in stats like possession, goal attempts and getting plenty of corners but no end product. We have been saying we have had bad luck. Most woodwork (26 times), most corners, bad ref decisions, opposition keepers MoM displays, etc. But we have no one to blame but ourselves.
These are our weaknesses:
1)We are looking to score the perfect goal. Arsenal were accused with this. But almost every shot from anywhere by Van Persie is a goal. Suarez and Gerrard are trying to beat everyone to score.
2)Final ball is missing. Gerrard is trying to backheel it to Suarez at the edge of the box when it was easier to make a simple pass to put Suarez through. Henderson is scared to make a killer pass. The ball is lost before Carroll turns. Kuyt scuffs and makes a bubbly pass. Downing cross is either too long or hits the opposition. That is why we get so many corners the highest in the PL. It was a record at QPR. We had 11 in the first 20 minutes. That is one corner for less than two minutes.
3) Without Agger we lose our shape at the back and Carra is making it worse.
4)Since Lucas injury we have lost our shape. In came Henderson to replace him and he made it worse. Hendo goes to the right. Spearing or Adam has been playing in Lucas position.
5)Hendo and Carra were at fault for QPR 1st goal. Derry scored from a free header. He jumped between Hendo and Carra. Hendo is so weak. Under a slightest challenge he stopped and didn’t jump. Carra was behind and should have been ahead of the player. Both were at fault for the 2nd goal as well. Carra was at no man’s land for the cross. Hendo couldn’t stop the cross. Skrtel didn’t jump and he was at fault for the 3rd goal. We just can't defend set pieces and high balls.
6)Delivery into the box especially from set pieces have been poor.
7)Suarez doesn’t score enough goals but without him we don’t create anything and seem never going to score.
8)Liverpool now have the worst Premier League run over the last ten games (LDLWDLLLWL). Any other team would have raplaced their manager by now.

Wow,2 wins in ten is shockingly bad!

It's probably the best played poor run in the history of the Premiership. The confidence is lacking and we need more players who will just pull the trigger on site of goal.
And Kenny, no more Carra, pleeeease!

Carra is spent, what i hate about when he's on the pitch is his lack of pace, meaning he creates a deeper defensive line which in turn puts us under pressure, screaming and shouting at everything, unerving players around him,and i deffo agree aggers, why do they insist on that extra touch or delay in giving the ball?Infuriating!!

1. True in parts however I think this is more down to nobody being in the box, so we have to try the outstanding or we have to try force the ball into the box with players around it, trying to pass then move into it.
2. Couldn't disagree more with this. Final ball is missing because there is nobody in the box to play a final ball to. Wingers, for example Downing, can't cross the ball into the box and have to turn back and pass to the full-back who then has to turn back or cross it to an empty box, or Suarez the odd time he is in the box and one of the three defenders heads it out or out for a corner. Wingers and full backs have nobody to aim at, and the midfield pass it to Suarez, he is miles outside of the box where he tries to run with it and score. This isn't good enough. The tactics are terrible.
3) Without Agger we lose our shape at the back and Carra is making it worse.
-----------------------------------------
3. Without a doubt, it's only natural when a team loses one of its best players, they will suffer somehow.
4)Since Lucas injury we have lost our shape. In came Henderson to replace him and he made it worse. Hendo goes to the right. Spearing or Adam has been playing in Lucas position.
-------------------------------------------
4. Henderson never replaced Lucas, so couldn;t make it worse. Adam was playing the Lucas role. Henderson was getting forward.
-----------------------------------------------
5. I blame Henderson for World War 2 and for rigging the polls in the Russian elections in favour of Putin.
6)Delivery into the box especially from set pieces have been poor.
6. Most of the time, there's nobody to deliver to, in the box. I agree our set pieces have been poor however.
7)Suarez doesn’t score enough goals but without him we don’t create anything and seem never going to score.
--------------------------------------
7. Suarez isn't a lone striker, it isn't his fault he's up there on his own.
8)Liverpool now have the worst Premier League run over the last ten games (LDLWDLLLWL). Any other team would have raplaced their manager by now.
--------------------------------------
8. Nobody would replace their manager after finishing seventh the year before then being in seventh with games to go, they'd wait until the end of the season.

I’ve got to agree with you for once with regards to we don’t get bodies into the box. MU don’t have big players but there are always first to the ball because they get so many players into the box. Both them and Arsenal risk it and send their players forward. I remember Arsenal last min winner against Newcastle. Time was almost up and the ball was in Arsenal half but they won the ball and quickly sent forward and sent half of their team up and outnumbered Newcastle . A cross from the right. Five Arsenal players into the box had to score against 3 of Newcastle.

Its pretty infuriating that we can see this except for the managment.

It's true, I had been thinking it all season then it kicked me in the teeth when I watched a recent Benfica Champions League game. They were putting balls in the box and had at least four or five players in there everytime, needless to say, they scored a handful of goals.
Our tactics are poor and the players are looking poor, for them, especially the midfield and attack who are too far from each other and not supporting one another. People are putting it down to players not being good enough but I think it's the system, after seeing game after game, Suarez struggling upfront on his own, with no support and wingers having to turn back and pass to the full back with nobody in the box. Enrique and Downing have sent countless crosses in but there haven't been people in the box, this has resulted in MANY corners but also, so have the shots we're having to take from bad positions, due to no options. Sometimes it's better to keep the ball rather than whipping it in and that means passing to the full-back, however this in turn draws criticism from the support saying the wingers are always turning back, it's a no-win situation.
