billionaire owners are one thing but the tv rights thing means the elitism is a lot more sustainable, which means that unless you have billionaire owners you'll never be able to compete, it's scary

In 10 years, if football hasn't burst it's looking like the teams dominating now will still be dominating later on unless there are some major mess ups. however there is another trend which is kind of stabilizing europe with billionaire owners appearing in less dominant leagues, anji for example will be a strong force soon most likely, and with billionaires in china too does that mean there is a small threat of the game maybe being less focused on the conitinent? well that will take a long time but very interesting/scary stuff we are looking at. especially with the rumours of this european super league they talk about every now and again (that probably wont happen...)

My point? not entirely sure but where do you think arsenal will be in this midst? we are like the only team with a super rich owner who aren't spending the megabucks, which isn't necesarilly a bad thing but we will deffo need to start spending the big bucks here or there coz I fear if you go under, there wont be much chance of coming back as we haven't won a CL, that's what liverpool are still using to get decent players like suarez and torres.
