Lets face it

Lets face it, we're never going to sack King Kenny are we. People even suggesting that he could be sacked by the club should have their checked.

I know our form hasn't exactly been electric this season, but it would take a big, big man to sack Kenny. The only man who will decide when he is finished will be Kenny himself.

So lets forget about other potential managerial targets and back the man who has done so much for our club in the past.

Personally, its no different from the hodgson era

Not good enough

Please don't use press conferences to support the view that hodgson wasn't good enough as kennys press interviews are garbage too

Mervin, so one old fan wanting Kenny out is indicative of what the core support wants is it?

I think the Carling Cup win(potentially the FA Cup as well) will allow Kenny another season prove himself capable of guiding us into the top four. However I don't think Kenny will be given more money to spend next season, imo he'll have to sell to buy if he wants to improve the team.

John H and Tom Werner are the type who demand success. Sentiment appears to play no part whatsoever in their decisions. KD however is there and was there as an initial, stop-gap manager who in the remainder of last season, turned the club around, thereby being awarded the two year contract. While I loved him coming back home, and I support him in his position, I would not be surprised if he is not offered and extension to his contract. That will be directly dependant upon results, CL place, as well as cups etc. Performances, towards then end of this season have been dire, there's no other way of describing them. LFC will spend, no doubt in the summer. But the purchases will be far more cautious, based on stats, not sentiment. We can't afford another Andy Carroll.JimmyTheRed

I do want Bientiez back. He had to sell to buy and turned a net profit, he was trying to save the club behind the scenes and made it public to let the fans know their club was being stripped. This culminated in Bientiez backroom staff being sacked in the closed season prior to the last season bientiez was at LFC...this was done to further isolate the manager.

Imagine what Bienitez could do with proper owners backing him and letting him manage instead of having Rick Parry moving slowly in the transfer market if he didnt like a player identified by Bientiez.

Bientiez will work well with Camoalli or what ever his name is as its within the culture that continental managers come from

@Legendary Red or Dead

What are you talking about? Benitez only turned a net profit in one season and that was largely because he sold Alonso (which was a massive mistake). And at the beginning of that season he'd just negotiated a huge contract for himself with complete power over the signing and selling of players.

Do you honestly think owners who didn't back him would have given him that huge raise? Stop making excuses for the man.

It is getting monotonous about Benitez coming back and the situation is that Kenny is the manager and lets back him and see what the situation is at the end of season

At some point Kenny will move upstairs, downstairs or sideways. Whatever.

He was called in to do a job for a while and will carry on setting the team in the right direction. Eventually a successor will emerge. There are several contendors out there quietly going about their business in the top flight and will one day be ready to take on the challenge.

1 cup so far this season isn't a bad start. FA Cup is a possibility but Kenny will be aiming for a more consistent effort in the league next season. Winning something this season has added solidity to the foundations Kenny is currently laying.
