Obviously I can't judge how Clichy has performed this season, City fans are the best judges of that, but last season was definitely Clichy's worst in an Arsenal shirt. He had progressed excellenty as a very solid LB up until last year, but he made so many mistakes, some of which were in extremely crucial games, explaining why Wenger let him go so easily, combined with the fact that he was blocking Gibbs' progress. So please, think before you start generalising fans.

The way he went 'gooners ' implied that he was talking about all Arsenal fans. For example, if a woman was to say something that I perceived as being stupid, and I replied with 'women ', it would be interpreted as me saying all women are stupid, would it not?

Ermmm here is what you said, you referred to Cliche in the present tense not the past tense i.e. when he was at Arsenal. You cannot say something and then attempt to change the context of it when criticised for it.
I think it is you that should think.... before saying anything !

Ermmm here is what you said, you referred to Cliche in the present tense not the past tense i.e. when he was at Arsenal. You cannot say something and then attempt to change the context of it when criticised for it.

I didn't even make the original comment about Clichy! I didn't contradict anything that I have said, if you read my first comment on the article, it was the one saying that I can't judge Clichy's performances this season. So, it's YOU that should think before accusing me of contradicting myself.
