What players would now be available?
David Vaughan? The capture of Vaughan would show some serious ambition, one of th stand out players in teh Blackpool team who is now out of contract.
Bowyer? Linked with us some few weeks ago now however his experince would go well along side Bailey. Great tackler and has a good goalscoring record even in the premier league. He could sit deep in the 4-2-3-1 formation we used early season. Again a player that would show some ambition!
Jordan Mutch? Ex-ram player, played well on several loan spells in this division has plenty of potential and is a good ball winner and passer of the ball !
Kevin Phillips? Opinion will be divided with Phillips. And i fully think it depends on how you would use him. If given a 1 year contract for me he would be the best possible player to be able to bring off the bench and grab you that important goal! His experince will help the devlopment of the likes of Robinson and hopefully Maguire. Personally i would sign him on smallish wages for 1 season however will he want that?

Its quite possible that any targets from those three might not be leaving them now they're in the same league as us,so be interesting to see who we pursue and how much we want them.

Im still ripping we didn't move quicker for connor sammon,he will score goals in the premiership,he would have become a fans FAV at the park! If I could put a sadface I would.

I'm not sure that the relegated teams will need to sell any of their decent players. They'll all come down with nice fat parachute payments which is a shed-load more than GSE will ever want to spend. According to the BBC website the £400k compensation fee for Maguire is a "stumbling block". Says it all about GSE's intentions really.

I would be looking at the fringe players from the teams that just stayed up like Wolves and Wigan for players as you would imagine the would be adding better players and pushing the frige players further down the pecking order

Decent players from relegated clubs if they have to sell go to the promoted clubs. If we sign any quality it will be either from overseas or on a loan.
