The Eye of the tiger

The time is near, and our dream has almost arrived. 3rd is on the horizon and life as we know it is about to get so much sweeter.

Dazed and confused Alex Mcleish stood in awe watching as the greatest team on the planet slickly and stylishly passed the ball around like the Canadian ice hockey team winning another Gold medal.

This was Arsenal of old and it was brilliant. Oh how Alex Mcleish wishes to be Arsenal, he wishes it so bad he’d give up his only Carling cup medal just to be half the team we are.

This match reminded me of my first experience with a lady. Initially I thought the excitement would come to a premature end, but thankfully the opposition were so dog ugly that Arsenal and myself held on for the big firework display finish.

For me there’s only one candidate for manager of the year and that’s got to be Arsene Wenger.

Since the 8-2 defeat it’s been a monumental turn around, gelling the squad together with such ease is only something only Genghis Khan can dream of.

Theo Walcott said that such is Wenger’s enthusiasm and intensity for greatness, his pre match speech is like listening to The Eye of the tiger on your IPod while watching Bergerac.

Forget drug testing in the Olympics that song should be made illegal too. Training with that is basically the equivalent to being on Steriods, so one can only imagine the special feeling the players get when Arsene is around to stimulate them on a daily basis.
