A good move for him I reckon. Needs to get playing regularely which didnt happen at Blackpool due to the presence of Adam.
It wont get him back into the Irish squad though! And lets be honest, he doesnt deserve to be in the squad right now.

He's back were it all started for him. Good luck to Andy. Hopefully he can get back to the standard he was at two years ago with Sunderland. On his day he can be a quality player, he has a sweet left foot.
He reminds me a lot of Stephen McPhail, who I also thought was a very good footballer and another man should have won a lot more caps.

Sad the way his carrer has faltered. He could have been sich a good player for Ireland and I partly blame trapatoni for his demise.

Lets be realistic. Andy Reid a few years ago was a very good player and i definitely think Trapatonnis decision to drop him affected his form.
But if he can't claim a regluar place in the Blackpool side he is a long way off being considered good enough for the ROI side
