Danny Cipriani

Hi yall!! Sorry but this will turn out to be a bit of an essay, but I have a lot to say about Cipriani! Im actually a Saracens fan (when the football isnt on), but my flatmate supports Sale through thick and thin so I try and keep up.

Firstly

I would put a lot of money on Danny being a starter, or in the England squad for next 6N. As a Fly half or an inside centre, with Farrell playing as the other 10 or 12. Cipriani apparently spoke to Lancaster a year ago asking for help in how to get into the England team etc. A great bit of unintentional sucking up to the England boss I feel

ANYWAY
I feel I should discuss my feelings towards him joining Sale.

Personally I think this is a fantastic move for Sale as they have been lacking that spark all year I feel. Danny has been playing some very very impressive rugby for Melbourne. This attacking flair will only benefit the team. Plus on top of that he is still young and has seemed to be around for ever. The flair of the super 15 has also only improved his game which will be a major benefit for Sale.

However I feel there do come with some drawbacks with his joining.

Wherever he goes, trouble may follow, which is a shame because he did have a bit of an attitude when he was younger. Melbourne may have straightened him out though?!?

Also, he really is poor defensively him and Hodgson in the team is a bit . Especially since at Melbourne they appear to play him at 9/12 when going forward then chuck him at 11 when defending so that he doesnt get exposed. Now this may work in the southern hemisphere with the high pace games, yet I feel this might be exposed in the Aviva Premiership.

Anyway, dont really have a point to this article, just a couple things that were on my mind. for reading
