I'm sure Fuzzy will be doing a far better match preview later on today, but I am bored at work and fancied discussing the game, so this will have to suffice for now...
For some reason, although god knows why on current form, I am optimistic we can steal the spoils tonight. We have had some good results at Palace. I remember one in particular a couple of seasons back when I had put my £2 scorecast on Billy Sharp 3-1 to Rovers at a whopping 250-1, bloody palace couldn't even manage one stingy consolation goal!
I'm sure we won't keep a clean sheet tonight though, i can't remember the last time we kept a clean sheet.
My team for tonight:
Ikeme
Ilunga
Beye
Hird
Chimbonda
Oster
Barnes
Gillett
Bennett
Bagayoko
Diouf
Bench:
Copps
Friend
Piquoinne
Dumbuya
Lockwood
Palace vs Donny

That's it really - If I see we've fought all the way and we get relegated OK
When I listen to the matches v Derby and Millwall I get annoyed. But tonight - no problem

Not on loan Skippy, sure he's ours. Just another injury statistic before tonight though

He played on loan for us years ago from Sunderland, scored many goals too. His dad was a former Sunderland player who also had played for Donny. He will do well now he is back....The future is Bright, the future is Red and White

To be fair I don't think Piq had a terrrible game. I thought he worked quite hard towards the end, tracked their midfield back to our penalty area on a few occasions.
Keagan, Friend and Brown looked good coming back from lengthy lay offs and if (which is looking quite likely now) we go down will be very useful next year.
Actually I can't think of many that had a bad game, apart from John Oster, Robert looked good and worked hard, defence looked pretty comfortable, except when Zaha had the ball. I'm not sure they would have scored if Oster hadn't gifted it to them in our area.
Not sure what game Saunders was at that we could have been 5-0 up after 15 mins, the only chance i remember was Piq hitting the post.

Sorry I did know he was a Rovers player, my very poor sense of humour i'm afraid

Robert had a great chance after 2-3 minutes but shot straight at the keeper.
