Because it would be you who have Europa against either Chelsea or Spurs who will qualify for europe through league position leaving next place for 6th/7th.

basically there is 3 europa league places
liverpool have one for winning the carling cup
and one for the winners of fa cup and if its between liverpool and chelsea/spurs they have both qualified for europe so it goes to 6th place, which is us and even if liverpool overtake us it will go to 7th which hopefully still should be us

then they dont get CL football, it happend with Liverpool who go let back in but i think they said after it was a one off.
