we've all seen the 'classic' articles on here - 'x.com says we're going to sign y' and we all know they're absolute rubbish, so what is the worst rumour you've seen on any of these sites or linked to here?
i think this summer it has to be the rumour that we're on the verge of signing lassana diarra for 20m.

On the list of transfer rumours on the official site, it has Hulk at £87m. Don't know which paper/site it was from.

I use the newsnow.co.uk site to get info, there is an increasing amount of it that is made up of complete b******s, with the headlines bearing little or no resemblance with the text from the articles...
Having been a web editor for an unofficial club site I can see why they do it, purely for adclicks that provide revenue.
The trouble is we see the "big headline" and click on, thus sending it further up the viewed list, In the case of the newsnow site, then every one else clicks on... vicious circle...
Sorry the info's a little on the boring side, just thought some people might not know.
