So last nights programme had the big news of what our new badge will be. I got the programme and flicked through it straight away and must have missed it. So had another look and couldn't see our new badge. Then I read what Steve Parish had said and the big news is.... they are postponing the decision until next year.
Not very exciting and makes the whole vote, etc seem a bit of a pointless. I still agree our badge needs to change and the money 'wasted' will be recovered from merch sales. Hopefully next season they don't make a big deal about it and just change it and let people argue amongst themselves.
It doesn't matter what badge they pick there will always be people who will moan but like an ugly child we will learn to love it as one of our own.

The people who moan will either not go to the games or not buy the merch anyway.

To be fair we all like a good moan every now and then. Although recent performances have been very poor overall this season has been a good one and I'm sure we'll look back on it as a success.
I don't think anyone would hate it that much that they stop supporting Palace. I'm not saying everyone must buy something with the new badge but a few people will. Some people, myself included, haven't purchased anything with the current badge on thinking that come May it will be old fashioned (and we all know how I'm a fashion icon! )
