Ain't this the truth

Then you don't actually understand what "irrefutable" means, nor actually comprehend that it is a word that is actually redundant when talking about "facts", considering what the word "fact" actually means.

You "yawned" in your last post. I can only assume you are bored. Well the only person keeping you here and maintaining your boredom is yourself.

Or maybe you're just tired. If that's the case, at least that would excuse the poor quality of the posts you have written.

were you 'tired' when you claimed that many people regard the premier league as being the best league in the world?

No, many people do regard the premier league as being the best league in the world.

Whether those many people are correct however is another debate. What's your point?

"were you 'tired' when you claimed that many people regard the premier league as being the best league in the world?"

Do you not think many people do then? Considering it is the most followed league in the world by a stupidly large margin?

i can only hope that these 'many people' are quickly recaptured then.

Maybe they should be. Again, what's your point?

ripleys - the point you make about better players getting decisions was made to me by a football league linesman some years ago ( they were called linesmen in those days). He said that it was all too easy to be sucked into a perception that the better player was infallible e.g. the better forward would always time his run to perfection and so would never be offside; the better defender would always step up at the right moment and so catch his opponent offside etc. It all meant that the better players (and by extension) the "bigger" teams seemed to get the marginal decisions.

Cheers Jake. There is a degree of logic to officials being sucked into that perception.
