Not a trick question but I get facebook notifications from Official LCFC AND I've just received the latest City E-Newsletter and neither refers to the Walkers Stadium but keeps mentioning Filbert Way. So, are Leicester dropping the stadium name in favour of naming it after it's location and does it matter? For the record I'd drop offering stadium naming rights at the drop of a hat. There's never going to be any history attached to a place that changes it name every few years. Or am I wrong?

I'd love it to be called Filbert Way, it's a proper football stadium name. I'd prefer Freeman's Wharf myself, but if I'd happily call it Filbert Way if that was it's offical name.
I just can't call it the 'Walkers Stadium', it just sounds wrong and cheap, I cringe a little everytime it's called that. And even worse would be it being renamed to the 'King Power or KP Stadium', we're not Hull fgs. And then of course it would change in another 20 years.
It will never have any credibility unless it has a permanent name which isn't sponsored.

Was Back2Back's comment so bad?

Freemans Wharf or Filbert Way would both do nicely, not fussed which one. i think it is time we found a permanent name and put the advertising rights to one side. Back2Back was attempted to WUM us but it was so poor the moderator removed to save him the embarrassment

Is it the moderation equivalent of the police taking someone into protective custody?

I think we need to get out of English if we're going up that street. How about Estádio de Lez?
