I have no soft spot for barca, spesh after the fabregas drama but I do side with them on the pitch issue.
right after sunderland ac decided they wanted a rubbish pitch too, which saw a player of ours get injured in both games (can't remember who for the ac game).
the should be pitch guidlines/rules, with teams spreading their stopping tactics to the quality of their pitch, especially clubs as big as ac milan
ps still bitter about ac milans offisde goal and us not getting a penalty as it could have gotten us through :'(

I think that given how much money teams get in tv rights they should take half a mill from each club and give responsibility over the pitch to Uefa and respective Fa's
People say that not everyone can have great groundsman like Arsenal do... but thats BS, how hard can it be to get grass to grow?

The pitch did us a favor because if we had got a better result against Milan, it would be us travelling to the Nou Camp awaiting another pummeling. The San Siro pitch is a complete disgrace to be fair, it was even worse last night than when we played them.

Apparently their pitch is bad because the sun doesn't get to the pitch, so they have to keep re-laying it.
